how can I get a a 16bit game( Battle Beast) to run on my Windows 7 64 bit home premium OS?
I have an old PC game that was released in 1995 Called Battle Beast. I want to play it but I have a windows 7 64 bit home premium OS and when I try to start the program it gives an error message saying that the ” ??h:setup.exe” can not start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit version of windows. the program is a ISO file so I don’t think it will work in DOS Box.is there anything I can do to get this game running?
Try setting the compatabiliy back of the game.
To do this right click the .exe and go into properties. Select the Compatability tab and check the box for “Run this program in compatability mode for:”, choose which version of Windows you think will work and click apply. If it doesn’t work the first time select another version of Windows (1995, 2000, ME and XP should run it). If it still doesn’t work re-install the game. If it doesn’t work after that you’ll probably have to try it on a different machine (XP or Vista).
