Who had the better Henchmen in Masters of The Universe? Skeletor or Hordak?
They had similar characters
Evil Lyn & Shadow Weaver
Beast man & Grizzlor
Triklops & Mantenna
Clawful & Scorpia
Merman & Leech
Hordak definitely got female henchmen heavy once they decided to make him She-ra’s nemesis. But I always thought they were all goofy. At least Skeletor’s Henchmen had a mean streak to them.
So I guess I prefer Skeletor’s minions.

I think Skeletor was better. I think his henchmen were better.
When the Horde were created, the whole thing was about creating a bigger force badder force. Which would be all the more impressive for a female character to overcome. Which would be She-ra.
At that point they had decided to dump He-man and focus everything on She-ra, which would end up being a fatal error. because both ended up being dumped.
Face it, the Horde were cheap copies of Skeletors group, amped up on Steroids.
They tried to give Hordak some instant credibility by making him Skeletors mentor. But then you find out about Hordak being a minion of Horde Prime (which was dumb as Rocks).
At least Skeletor and his Henchmen were doing their own thing, win or lose.
