We can take heed from a recent example in Birmingham; land without planning permission was valued at 15,000, after rezoning, that land was worth 240,000. That’s an increase in value of 1500%!
So what does this mean to investors? Picture this; you invest in land without planning permission for 15,000. Then to have the local council change the status of this land so that it could be developed upon. Well in theory this means your 15,000 would rocket to 240,000.
