Android Tablet PCs – Besides The Samsung Galaxy Tab What Is Available
With the releasing of the new Android 3.1 platform the android 3.0 tablet series went into head to head competition with the iPad 2. Now realize this is in technology not sales because it would take a great deal to slow the sales momentum of the iPad.
However as a consequence there a great number of brands coming out with an Android 3.1 model starting with the Android 2.2 king the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has come out powerful and has reviewed quite approvingly beating the iPad in a few areas.

The Motorola Xoom was the 1st Android 3.0 Tablet and it faired well against the iPad in reviews, however it currently has come out in an Android 3.1 model and iPad had better release something soon if it wants to keep it’s lead in this market. The Xoom is now quicker and has many new features that awakened a great amount of interest from the “Techie” world.
The Android 3.1 ASUS ePad Transformer Tablet is a popular model that sells out fast on Amazon. It’s been favored for gaming and general use. You should check out what users want to say about it and check out reviews and see what it has got to offer. It has received some good reviews and is more cost effective than some of its competitors.
The Archos G9 comes in a 8″ and a ten” models. It is more cost effective beginning in the $300. Range for the 10 inch. It is not as “loaded as some of the others it is looking to give good quality for a very good price. It is worth checking out if you’re thinking economy.
The Toshiba Flourish is just under $500.00 and compares favorably to the iPad, beating the iPad in cameras, monitor size and several other areas nonetheless it is thicker and heavier than the iPad. You need to check out the features and see which ones are necessary to you.
One that I didn’t mention above was the IBM contribution to this onslaught. The new Lenovo Android 3.1 tablet has received some good reviews with some selecting it over the other 3.1 models e. G the Motorola Xoom after comparing them.
Realize what makes the perfect tablet for one person regularly is a long way from what makes the ideal tablet for someone else. Because of that you need to look at each unit and see how they compare on the things you are feeling are crucial, be that battery life, weight, thickness, monitor size or whatever.
So take a look at the different models and see what they have to give. Match them to the iPad and decide for your self. One thing to note however is familiarity. If you’ve been using an iPhone, chances are you will feel more relaxed with the iPad. On the other hand if you’ve been using an android telephone you will probably choose one of the Android 3.1 Capsules. If you’ve not used either one then you are fundamentally unprejudiced and must decide on the things which are important to you.
