What did the Ming Dynasty accomplish during their Golden Age?
I have a 9th Grade Global History Final Exam tomorrow, and my teacher told me the topic is going to be either Golden Ages or Belief Systems. I know about Belief Systems, and it would be great if someone could tell me about the Ming Dynasty’s Golden Age (especially during the Yongle Emperors reign).

The Chinese Golden Age was from 206 BCE – 220 CE under the Han Dynasty not the Ming.
Under Zhu Yuanzhang the Chinese government established a standing army of 1,000,000 warriors and ordered the construction of a vast navy.
The era saw enormous projects of construction, including the restoration of the Grand Canal, the Great Wall and the construction of the Imperial Palace (Forbidden City) in Beijing.
The Ming was the last imperial dynasty in China ruled by ethnic Hans. 1368 – 1644 AD
The Ming restored Confucian government and traditions to China. They experienced an economic revival due to great achievements in agricultural production through better farming methods.
Ming industry thrived producing large amounts of porcelain, paper, and tools. New methods of printing led to an abundance of books, and an increase in the literacy rate. Under the Ming, some artisans produced prized blue and white porcelain vases, while others began a revival of landscape painting. Confucian poetry also experienced a revival, and the first detective stories began to circulate among the Chinese people. Chinese artists also excelled in opera and drama.
Yongle is a very accomplished emperor. He laid the foundation of the thriving of Ming Dynasty. He expanded the territory of Ming Dynasty, cleared up the remnant forces of Yuan Dynasty. In culture, he ordered Hanlinyuan (a civil government organization) to assemble a cyclopedia called “Yong Le Da Dian¡± which contains 22877 volumes. And he dispatched Eunuch Zheng He to visit about 30 Asian and Africa countries from sea to intercommunicate with people in other countries.
& Though Emperor Yongle had not lived for a long time in the Forbidden City, he was the founder of the Forbidden City.
