What is the difference among the different JLA and Batman comic book titles?
What is the main difference between these comic book titles? I mean are they focused on different aspects of the same characters or are they set in different storylines or something?
JLA and JLA Classified.
Also the same question for these two other titles.
Batman and Batman Confidential.
And which would you recomend?
Batman focus More in Batman the James Bond like superhero, with an Urban twist.
Detective Comics Focus more on Batman the Sherlock Holmes like Detective.
JLA
Focus More on Batman the Team mate who learns how to trust others.
The Outsiders (Batman/JLA Book) Focuses More on Batman the Team leader.
JLA Confidential is the JLA at it’s beginnings.
Batman is the Current adventures
Batman Confidential is Batman in the first years of his career.
Edit. I Strongly Recomend Batman, Detective Comics and The Outsiders now a days. Batman is currently writtne by Grant Morrsion and he is just FKING AWESOME. He is been writting a series of Arcs that he sees as one arc and is really good, but you might want to get the Batman and Son Arc, Batman 663 Named the clown at midnight (Which is written inprose like a short story) and the three Batmen which started on Batman and Son and Just finished, Now the last Arc Batman R.I.P. is the current one. If you go to a comic book store and ask for this arcs there is a big chance you’ll find it.
Detective Comics Lately has been just stories that are one shots and are loosely tied toguether. The First and second Recopilations are called Batman Detective and Batman Death and the City, I strongly recomend them if you like Detective Stories. Think of them as The Adventures and Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes for Batman. Batman and The Outsiders I strongly recomend But you will have to get The Outsiders: Check/Out, Outsiders: Five of a Kind, and to understand was happening in the series. Check/Out had the team lead by Nightwing who gave it to Batman, Five Of a Kind has the Outsiders auditioning to be on Batman’s team Which leads to Batman and The Outsiders which is currently in it’s 4th issue.
Batman confidential I don’t recomend, It has a rotating creative team which makes the Book sometimes good, sometimes REALLY bad.
