Is it possible to learn how to sing on your own? How would you describe these singing styles?

dont be just listing genres but be specific as possible and when you list the genre be specific like if its a sub genre u list that.

I think you’re nitpicking–you would use general genres to describe these singer’s singing styles because sometimes one song might be more rock than pop, or more jazz than pop, or more rock than R&B. Many of the more talented singers–ones who actually have good voices and decent vocal ranges–can sing many different types of music. For example, John Mayer is primarily a pop singer, but he did duet with country/pop singer Taylor Swift (both musically and personally).
As for Kanye West, his “singing” style is TALKING. Everybody else on that track is singing, but he talks–or raps–if you prefer.
And it’s difficult for anyone to teach themselves to sing–considering how difficult it is to even hear yourself properly when you sing. It’s easy to make mistakes and damage your voice. And just asking the question about “specific sub genres” kind of indicates that you might get caught up in terminology and at the same time have difficulty understanding those terms.
And it’s usually a common mistake for beginning singers to want to copy an admired singer’s voice and singing style. Sometimes certain singers–though they sound great–don’t have the healthiest techniques. Maybe certain things work for them, or they have vocal cords of iron–but an amateur singer can end up ruining his voice before he has a chance to get very far.
Get a voice teacher–there are some that teach non-classical styles of singing. I’m guessing you don’t need voice lessons to rap, but even public speakers sometimes undergo training with voice coaches that specialize in speech rather than singing.
