Any idea what these are worth?
Hello all, my mother recently found some items while rummaging through the house and we would like to know if anyone may know the approximate value of them. They are three, separately packaged, Michael Jackson doll outfits. None of them have ever been opened and the copyright date is 1984. Each one has belt, shoes, socks, slacks, shirt, glove, and jacket. One is the “Beat It” outfit, while the other two are “Billie Jean”, and “Human Nature”. They were manufactured by the LJN toy manufacturer out of New York. The packaging does have Michael’s face on the front and back. Any information regarding the value of these items will be appreciated. Thank You.

You just stumbled on a nice little opportunity, if you’re looking to sell them. Most of the outfits you are describing are selling on ebay for $50 to $100. There is one listing that shows all 5 outfits that were apparently sold listed in the same auction, with a price of $625.
If you do indeed want to sell them, I would suggest doing so now, while the market for Michael Jackson items is probably the best it will ever be because of his tragic passing. Although the items will still have some long term value, you will probably be looking at prices less than half of the current prices if you wait a month or two. So if you’re selling, SELL NOW!!!
I have the link below that will take you to the auctions currently listed on ebay. There are surprisingly a very low number of these items currently listed, which probably means they are being scooped up pretty quickly. As with the current listings, I would suggest listing a “Buy It Now” price in the similar range of those listed.
If you are a big fan, congratulations as well, because you don’t have to PAY these prices if you wanted to buy the doll clothes right now.
