Based on the Marvel universe; is Thor really a God or an Alien?
I hear many people saying that Thor is a God or his an alien. In the movie it is said that him along with the other Asgardians are a race of aliens with advance technology who were viewed as gods by people. Please post up sourceful information like links describing Thor’s true identity and origins. And again please explain whether hes an alien or god.
In the context of the Marvel universe, Thor is very much a supernatural god. Not an advanced alien.
According to the Watcher, the original gods of Earth were primal beings, brutal, animalistic, instinctive, who turned on each other, but were ultimately destroyed by the sun god Atum. Atum consumed them all, but then released their divine life-force again, which returned to the environment and then gave rise to gods again as a response to the beliefs of humanity. That is how the modern-day gods of Marvel Earth were born.
It would be pretty cool to have an alternate universe Avengers line-up consisting of Captain USA, Iron Maiden, the Hornet, the Unstoppable Brute and Jesus Christ.
