Mass Device
How do you get USB Mass Device and MTP Device to start?. ?
Its for an Mp4 player. we tried putting it in the computer but it does not pick up. We got told that it had something to do with whats above. CODE 10 is mentioned but we don’t know what it is. Could you help Plz.
Sounds like a USB Root Hub problem I once had.
Here is what I did :
But first, a warning, you must make sure to have at least Service Pack 2 for Windows XP or Vista installed for this trick to work correctly.
Go to Start/Run (click the Start button and then click Run)
Type: Devmgmt.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
In the list that will appear (expand it with the plus sign if you don’t see it entirely), find the Universal Serial Bus controllers section (should be the last one in the list).
Expand this section with the + sign to see it entirely (if it’s not already fully opened).
You should see one entry (or several entries) for USB Root Hub, right click every one of those and choose Uninstall, then restart your computer.
Windows (provided you have at least SP2 as stated above) should replace these drivers automatically.
