Why is my red cap goldfish turning pink?
I have two young redcap goldfish that I just got about 5 days ago. One of them is narrow and silver and healthy but the other, I believe a female is fatter and turning pink, why? I put them both in medication (methylene blue) over night and did a 100 percent water change.
I have a ten gallon tank and will be upgrading it but can only when she is healthier because if she is sick i don’t want to spend $100 if she’s too sick or something.
Whats happing is that belive it or not a goldfish changes gender in the middle of its life nowif it is more red than it is a male if it is more pink its a femle. The procese ts going through right now is its changing gender, and is not sick
