I’ve seen the picture before, or another like it. Not impressed. Like the new costume, though.
Frankly, I disapprove of the way the Ultimate universe has been handled lately. The en masse dismantling of the X-Men, FF, and Spider-Man shows a lack of regard for the fans that I find frankly shocking.
I really loved Ultimate FF. I don’t mind that they wanted to do something new here, but they did it in such a way that contradicted everything we knew about Ultimate Reed Richards. We’re supposed to believe that the guy who built the Fantasticar because he missed his parents would turn homicidal and kill them both without a second thought or even a hint of remorse.
No, I am now officially boycotting anything written by Bendis. I’ve been reading the New Avengers ever since Immonen became the artist and see nothing I like. That man worked on them for years and accomplished nothing as far as I’m concerned.
So forget the new Ultimate Spider-Man. Once Bendis is done with him, he’ll probably have Punisher put a bullet in his head offscreen too.
