A question about using Star Wars in your art?
Can someone help me with the legal issues regarding using Star Wars vehicles or charcters in your art? I have noticed on ebay that people are selling art they created using such things. Is there a copyright problem or legal ownership of those images so someone shouldn’t be using them? I would love to paint some work using those plus I know a few people who would love murals using a Star Wars motif. I have just been leary of doing it for said reasons, but I admit, I know little about law. Any help would be very appreciated.
It’s all either copyrighted or trademarked which means you can’t use any of it without getting permission.
