Is Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock possible for the Wrestlemaina 25?
I’ve heard many rumours that there is going to be a special match between these two, possibly at Wrestlemaina 25. Even FHM quoted in an interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin that “It is inevitable that the Rock and Stone Cold will renew their rivalry some day in the future” . I would appreciate if anyone would be able to clerify any of the rumours/speculations.
No, they fought each other numerous times over the WWE Intercontinental Title, the WWE World Heavyweight Title and the WWE Championship. Unless there is some aspect of their rivalry that the two of them haven’t explored, I don’t see it happening. The Rock would only be interested in wrestling someone who he has never wrestled, but always wanted to wrestle. The Rock always wanted to wrestle Sting, but Sting has never been under contact to the WWF/WWE. Steve Austin would also be interested in wrestling Hulk Hogan, but I don’t think he would trust him. Austin would have to agree to be pinned by Hulk Hogan and to make Hulk Hogan look good, in order for their to be a match. I can see either one of them or both doing cameos or being Special Referees, I can’t see either one of them wrestling, though.
