Counterfeit BBI action figure?
I saw a suspicious 12″ 1/6 scale action figure on ebay, which don’t seem to be manufactured by blue box toys (BBI elite force). Or is it a very old version? But it seems more like a fake with “US ARMY FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION FORCE” printed on a transparent plastic box, as FBI and the US ARMY are separate entities while BBI packs their toys in cardbox boxes of high quality printing. go to the following website to look at it ( http://cgi.ebay.com/BBI-ELITE-FORCE-MILITARY-ACTION-FIGURE-1-6-army-FBI_W0QQitemZ140119704179QQcmdZViewItem ) Please help me determine if it is counterfeit. Don’t know about this particular one. From your description it sounds fake. The seller has a bold star and a good rating. Prior sales look similar. Guy has been doing this for 6 months.
Good rule of thumb – if it looks phoney it probably is.
