Here are some of the best tips to consider when you’re buying walkie talkies.
First, you will want to make sure to take a look at the range. Some will only work at short ranges, while others will work further apart. If you are looking for a walkie talkie to be used as a toy, then you will really not need much range. However, if you want to use it while you’re outdoors camping or hiking, or to keep in touch while out and about- then you will want to get a longer range.
Next, you will want to make sure that you are aware of all of the specific features of the walkie talkies. There are so many different options for you to consider, and you may or may not benefit from the various different added features that you find from one set to another. Some may allow you to hear the weather, while others may have a backlight that makes it easy to use in the dark. Just remember, these features affect the price.
Don’t forget to consider the size of the device as well. This is important, especially if you want to be able to carry them around with you. Look for hand held devices that will easily clip to your belt, or fit in your pocket. Some walkie talkies are really just too big, and they are bulky and cumbersome to haul around. Don’t underestimate the size, in fact some of the smaller sets have the highest functionality and are very affordable!

Buying toys is one thing, but when it comes to functionality and ease of use, you will want to make sure that you get a great set.
